Laying out the perimeter of the frame. We had some 3 x 3/8” angle iron in the pile behind the store room. 1 was too long, 1 was too short, that makes both just right, right? (after a little torching and welding at least) I notched the front and rear angles to try to keep them more flush. I had to buy all the angle for the cross members and the tongue material. The front was 3 x 1/4” angle as well as the first cross member, the rear and the rest of the cross members were 2 x 1/4” angle. When the rails are blocked up make sure they are parallel in height, I just eyeball across from the side.
